近日，屡获殊荣的HTML5游戏发行商BoosterMedia宣布，收购了位于洛杉矶的网页游戏(微博)网络Hallpass Media，本次交易以现金方式完成。通过此次交易，BoosterMedia得到了600万的新增月活跃用户（MAU），同时还获得了Girlgames.com、Cookinggames.com和Wordgames.com等知名品牌。

BoosterMedia它是一家成立于2009年的游戏发行上，是HTML5游戏开发、发型和货币化的领跑者，每月在智能手机、平板电脑和PC端有1200万的活跃玩家。而它收购的Hallpass是最大的免费在线Flash游戏集合网站，其旗下有知名品牌Girlgames.com、Cookinggames.com和Wordgames.com，分别是女孩游戏站(换装游戏，化妆游戏，烹饪游戏)、烹饪游戏站和文字游戏站，可以满足不同玩家对Flash游戏的需求。

BoosterMedia表示，在过去的3年中Hallpass的网络规模增长了50%，Hallpass的玩家数量和优质品牌是非常吸引他们的。而且BoosterMedia计划将自身品牌延伸到智能手机和平板电脑领域，并用跨平台的HTML5游戏来取代目前大多数的Flash游戏，所以非常需要这些资源。至于HTML5游戏技术的优点则是，对于平常的游戏来讲，开发商需要投入时间与金钱来将他们的游戏从一个操作系统移植到另一个操作系统，而HTML5游戏技术可以让开发人员构建一个游戏在多个平台部署，大大节省了时间与金钱。

BoosterMedia创始人兼首席执行官劳伦斯卢顿(Laurens Rutten)表示，通过此次收购不仅BoosterMedia的玩家人数增加了两倍，而且也让他们拥有了强大的网页游戏品牌，此次收购是有里程碑意义的，他们有志于成为全球HTML5游戏领军企业。
